Email me at email@example.com, seriously about anything, I'll just be happy to know somebody has seen this page
Some of the old horiztontal strips from The Link are too small to read, just click them to enlargealex callard
I’ve moved to Ireland! It’s only until Christmas on exchange, but it’s still one of the biggest things I’ve done. I’m still getting the hang of living on my own. I’m in Cork at UCC, and the campus is gorgeous.
As usual, I did very little cartooning over the summer, but here’s the first of this year’s Link comics. I didn’t realize how out of practice I’ve been, but I’m really hoping to use the free time here to work on my art. This past week I went to my first ever life drawing session and there’s been some great Drink & Draw events at local pubs.
If anybody out there is in Ireland and wants to meet up for a pint, let me know! I’m planning to do a lot of travelling, so I’d love to meet some other artists.
Emily often plays Disney songs in the car with little regard for how they absolutely rip my heart apart
I love her a lot, hope she knows :)
Hope I can upload more often! Been awhile since I posted a real comic
I did a bunch of animation and rotoscope for a short documentary and kind of messed up my wrist, so I took a couple of weeks off from posting. This is a warmup I did of Zidane, a character from Final Fantasy 9, my favorite in the series. Can’t wait to start posting again!
My cover design for the programme for our Video 3 prodfest screening coming up this friday
my girlfriend is on summer break after today’s exam, so I drew this comic for her!
this is Emily’s tumblr
Last issue of the Link was a few weeks ago, so this is officially my first freelance comic of the summer, I guess. I took a week off after killing my hand doing animations for a project, and I’m a bit rusty. This comic is based off an actual dream I had, and it was one of the best dreams ever.
slow news day
it’s my last week of classes and I’m drowning in assignments, so this week’s comic is pretty simple. Sometimes I pass the time at work by doodling customers sitting in the lobby.
I can’t be the only one
Update: I’ve received a lot of refreshing feedback on this comic. Apparently I am far from alone in this sentiment.
a guy from my sketchbook, I imagined he was some RPG enemy.
